Couldn’t believe what I saw today as I went to the bank to get my monthly bank statements printed out. I brand new vending machine has appeared at the Construction Bank of China on XiangYang Lu.
It’s not like there is a lack of corner shops from which to buy snacks so why oh why is CBC makig a few extra bucks from selling snacks to customers. What made me smile the most was the instant noodles.
You normally see people going on long train journeys clutching one of these but how long does the queue at the bank need to be in order for customers to need to fortify themselves with an instant noodle meal. And where do they get the hot water?
I can’t image that happening anywhere outside China. Yet another thing that made me smile.
