We have two dogs at this house. They are supposed to be guard dogs but to be honest, they’re too soft and friendly and rarely bark at anyone. But they are lovely dogs, very patient and gentle and don’t mind never going for a walk and only being fed once a day on porridge and fish.
The landlord got a bit fed with having to think about and feed the dogs and so he had arranged a pet rescue centre to pick them up today. When I heard about it I called an emergency meeting with Mimi fro upstairs and we decided that we should save the dogs from the fly-infested hell hole (I have been there) and take responsibility for the dogs ourselves.
So now I have half shares in two nice dogs – that’s food and vets bills to think about. Mimi and I have decided to give the dogs two meals a day. Currently thy only get fed at 5pm and so they spend all day being hungry. We will feed them in the morning and take them for walks and give them more attention.
I have already been giving them beef bones so that they have a bit of meat. I still don’t know their names – I call them brown dog, black dog and I don’t see any reason to change now I own them.
