The global lockdown has brought some benefits and one of them is the increase in video calls and conferencing. I did very little in that area but now people are stuck at home and still having to work, it turned out that it is pretty easier to do this given software like Zoom or Skype.
And it’s not just video conferencing for business, people are now having coffee and drinks online and this includes me. Last week I joined two friends in England and Wales and had a coffee and today I sat for an hour and chatted about old times with friends in Australia and New Zealand.
We would not have thought to do this before the virus outbreak but now it seems that everyone is doing it and it’s pretty good fun. I am hoping that after the dust has settled, video meetings, both social and business will remain a firm fixture.
