Sadly my landlord, who lives Australia, has decided to sell the flat. He sent an agent around to have a look. He spent less than a minute here and then said he would be bringing people around at the weekend.

1pm Sunday I was to expect some people. Well 1pm came and what I hadn’t realised was that it was 30 minutes of a constant stream of people pushing through the door, walking around my flat taking pictures and shooting videos. I shouted at the people who tried to take videos of my stuff.
It is bad enough that I have to have complete strangers in my house but to take photos, furtively and not so, of my bed, bathroom etc. I cannot imagine doing that in the west. I would not dream of taking pictures of someone’s house without asking.

I know I cannot stop people coming around to look at it but it doesn’t mean I like it. The people fill the house and I cannot keep my eye on all of them. I feel violated and there’s nothing I can do about it.
The agent promises that he will only come once a week with people but today he was here 3 times with different groups of camera-weilding people. And the worst thing is that I am going to Africa for three and a half weeks and have to give my key to Mr Xu downstairs for him to let people in.
What the hell will they do in my flat with me not there to stop them. I am powerless to stop anything happening in my private space.
