Peace and quiet is impossible in Nanjing

By | July 7, 2013

Nanjing must be one of the noisiest cities in China. There’s not just the traffic noise, blasting car horns at every traffic lights, adverts, tvs on buses and metro trains, announcements, people of mobile phones shouting in your ear…. endless noise. And then there’s the building work, the drilling, digging, hammering and banging.

And then there’s the thing the clubs call music which they play at full volume to attract customers to go in. All it does to us is make us move away. To give you an idea of the volume, here’s a short clip of me and Mark and Matt outside the Blue Marlin in 1912 bar area.
