Bajaj are a little safer than boda boda so I try to take one if I can find one. I had been to the Chinese Supermarket in Mikocheni and then looked around for a bajaj.
Up pulled a black vehicle with the words “Black horse” on the windscreen. We agreed a price to take me home and I climbed inside. My legs were pleased to have a break. I sat down, put my bag on the floor (away from the open door) and then sat back.
The journey is no longer than 10 minutes and I started to relax, I noticed something in front of my nose that I had never seen in a bajaj before – a video screen (and two mirrors so I could check my appearance)
I had to laugh. It was not long ago that I had taken a bajaj which had installed 240v power sockets and a real glass window but this was the first video screen I had seen.
The driver thought it was quite amusing that I was quite so amused. I took some pictures still laughing. What a great idea – to pimp your bajaj.
