Summary
Two expeditions were carried in 1992 and 2012 to three villages on the Li River between Lang Ti and Xing Ping in the Guilin area of South China. This expedition report compares the life in the villages in these two years using interviews with villagers, in many cases, the same villagers as twenty years earlier.
