I only wanted some toothpaste but when I go to the supermarket I get this selection. Of course they are all in Chinese so I can’t really tell the difference. But is there a need for so many varieties?
Colgate, Crest… they are all the familiar brands but I can’t imagine that you get the same choice these days in Sainsbury’s. How is a girl supposed to choose?
The main difference in these supermarkets (apart from lack of any edible food) is the scale of the choice you have to make. When it comes to coat hangers, or plastic bags, toilet paper or toothpaste, it’s easier just to close your eyes, stick your hand out and buy whichever one you touch first!
