I decided I wanted to see Taiwan but it’s a bit costly to fly. The next best thing is a trip to a Taiwanese hospital – a lot cheaper and am ambulance will take you there for 15 pounds. I had to pretend to be ill though and need 4 units of blood and two nights accommodation!
I’m ok though and now all my freinds have gone I have some peace and quiet and can take advantage of my luxury room with internet, tv, fridge, microwave, kettle, en-suite, spare visitor bed and sofa.
It’s been a constant stream of people coming and going for the last two days which is great but tiring. I have so much food in the fridge that I have given some to the nurses.
They don’t speak English so it’s just as well Jack taught me a few key phrases (I need more blood). Elaine has been great translating and the girls have been keep my spiritis up.
Home tomorrow with a bit of luck.
