I had enough time to go and have a look at the harbour side and I wanted to see Marina Bay Sands Hotel. I got the MRT underground to that part of the city and spent an hour trying not to spend any money then headed back to Little India and to Arab St.
10pm and I shared a huge bus with 5 other people all the way to The Cameron Highlands. It was 10 hours in a cold bus wearing all the clothes in my bag and getting very little sleep. And there were no views either as it was overnight.
Luckily I had emailed ahead and the Father’s Guesthouse had allotted me their last room. I am happily installed here and waiting for the banks to open so I can change some dollars for local currency. Then I can eat!
