Lion Hill

Spent a nice day going to Lynn and her 13 yr old twins, Laura and Jack and my Indonesian friend, Era. Firstly we had coffee in Costa and then up to Bububu fabric market for Jack to have a fitting of his suit for his junior United Nations thing in Beijing. Then lunch at a nice cheap Chinese restaurant. Era and I then went up to Lion Hill to see the Yangtse River.

The view from there is always hazy – well, either hazy or polluted. We could just about make out the city centre through the fog. The sun was out and is was a fantastic winter’s day. We decided to buy an annual pass for all the parks in the city for 20 quid. It’s a great deal and lasts for a calendar year so it’s the best time to buy it.
